Great night bois!
First Nevada and Zak came over and we went out to dinner and played some rockband (it was okay, kinda meh)
but then we all went to Becca's and Nevada got to meet everyone i had talked about 19203 times. Olivia was there and I almost shit  a brick cause no one likes her but apparently she just showed up and beccas too nice to throw her out..freak. at least she left early.
Skootie (my angel!) had some vodka so I had some mountain d with it and it made the night that much better haha. Vodka is still gross though.

*~Special Moments~*
1. I hugged Becca... and she hugged back. (She doesn't do hugs)
2. I saw a picture of Daniel's penis...eweewww
3. My Best friend bonded with my other best friend! yayyay
4. Other things that i dont feel like trying to remember :)

I went to bed at 3:30 while the rest watched Batman (sexy movie but I dont do watching movies twice)
And I'm still here, because Mother Nature's a slut and decided, (just like last year) to have a giant windstorm New Years Day. I might have to spend another night here, oh well she lives right next to a convenience store so I'll survive.:):)

So yeah, i'm feeling pretty great, but god knows i'll crash again soon.

God, I had the most wonderfully weird dream last night. It was quite an epic dream, and lately I've noticed that I get these kinds of dreams every month or two, and in between I just get the short normal dreams.

A barrage (can you say that?) of quizzes!

Your Political Profile:
Overall: 25% Conservative, 75% Liberal
Social Issues: 0% Conservative, 100% Liberal
Personal Responsibility: 50% Conservative, 50% Liberal
Fiscal Issues: 0% Conservative, 100% Liberal
Ethics: 25% Conservative, 75% Liberal
Defense and Crime: 50% Conservative, 50% Liberal

You are Agnostic

You're not sure if God exists, and you don't care.
For you, there's no true way to figure out the divine.
You rather focus on what you can control - your own life.
And you tend to resent when others "sell" religion to you.

You Are Emerald Green

Deep and mysterious, it often seems like no one truly gets you.
Inside, you are very emotional and moody - though you don't let it show.
People usually have a strong reaction to you... profound love or deep hate.
But you can even get those who hate you to come around. There's something naturally harmonious about you.

Your Extroversion Profile:
Sociability: High
Cheerfulness: Medium
Excitement Seeking: Medium
Activity Level: Low
Assertiveness: Low
Friendliness: Low

I went to a crazy game (rally) tournement on wednsday and it was hella fun. My team came 3rd (out of 4!! :D ) But We lost two games by only 1 point. Despite my teams semi-failure, I'm becoming better on the courts and and I hope I can get in advanced lessons before sept.

Oh and I also got a t-shirt that says 'CRAZY GAME' on it and it's pretty spiffy and (I haven't used that word since grade 5!)

Bye!

Fiddlesticks. Sweden lost against Germany.Oh but because of some divine miracle, France made it to the second round!Yay! (In case you didn't know, since Canada is currently MIA at the world cup, I have a handful of semi-random teams I cheer for.)
GO FRANCE SWEDEN AND THE NETHERLANDS !

It seems everyone here supports England though.

On another sporting note, I'm getting pretty good at Tennis. I'm going in a beginner's tournement
on Wednsday, hope I do good!

Oh and I'm currently looking for work for the first time. I'm interested in this job washing dishes at this place downtown called the Merchantman's Pub. Can you imagine, me, working at a pub! Ok it's just washing dishes but still.

edit: Sweden and The Netherlands both lost (god it was so close! Damn Portugese!) France better win against Spain or I'll have to start cheering for England .D:

The world cup is quite exciting. Im one those people who dislike soccer most of the time but then when the world cup rolls I'm all OMGSOCCERYA.

I think Canada can qualify for 2010....okay, maybe not..2038? 2072?

Oh and my math exam was so godamn easy so easy it almost made me angry but hey I should just be glad I'm not gonna fail and have to go into general math in high school and what a run-on sentence.:)

I don't know how the fuck I'm going to not-fail the exams coming up ( Or more specifacilly the math one, the others one actually look a bit easy)

Nothing much going on, except that my teachers seem to like assigning projects these days where you have to make a video. There comes a time in one's life when video-projects stop being so fun...AND THAT TIME IS NEVERRR LOLZ~~

No really it's getting annoying.

But in one of the (video) projects you have to act out a robbery. That should be fun. I think I'm going to get shot.:)

I went to school today and everyone was wearing black because apparently the funeral was today and I was all 'oh shit' because my shirt wasn't black. It was okay though because I saw a kid wearing a neon green shirt. I ended up not going to the funeral though and I watched Cheaper by the dozen 2, It was fantastic (just kidding).

I stole this from Jackie

Police identify accident victim
Last updated May 26 2006 02:44 PM ADT
CBC News
Police have released the name of a Charlottetown man killed Thursday on Lower Malpeque Road. Shawn Smith, 45, died after a northbound Jeep veered across the centre line and hit him.

Deputy police chief Richard Collins said the investigation into the cause of the accident could take a few weeks.

"The environmental factor doesn't seem to be a mitigating circumstance here," said Collins. "We're concentrating on mechanical and the human factors."

An accident specialist is attempting to reconstruct the case. Collins says there is still forensic testing to be done.

Smith leaves behind a wife and two children.

----

One of those two children is in my class in school. Emily Smith. I can't believe it. I never knew Emily well, but even if you've barely spoken to her, you couldn't help but like her. She was the nicest person I've ever met.

Why do bad things always happen to good people?

I keep thinking about what her face would look like when she first got the news. Oh, and she got it while she was on a band trip in Halifax. Imagine being across the strait in a city you barely know while your life crumbles around you?

Dont't you just love those fun people.
The kind of people who always look at least a little happy?
The kind of people who can say things that normally sound boring but sound hilarious when they say it? The people who are just plain fun to be around?

I used to have 2 friends like that. One online in one in rl. We drifted away from each other in both cases. I miss 'em.:(

Oh and I'm currently reading Lunenburg, a book about a murder in Halifax. It's okay.
Speaking of books, I just realized I really didn't like the Da Vinci Code. Just didn't seem like the most well written book ever. Yes there were lots of fun little plot twists but the book just didn't seem meaty enough. Not that I'm an expert on books or anything. Lunenburg is the first book I've read in a long time.

See ya

Dear Ben,

Thank you for your email letter.

I appreciate you taking the time to write.

I will be sure to share your thoughts and comments with the Mayor.

All the best to you.
Joanne Miller

>>> "Ben McDonald" <ben776@msn.com> 3/18/2006 1:58 PM >>>

Dear Mr. Mayor,
I am writing you this e-mail to urge you to reconsider your decision not to bid for Toronto for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Toronto's basicly Canada's only hope for recieving the Summer Olympics in the future, and it's chances are quite good. The games are most likely returning to North America in 2016, and Toronto could provide strong competition to an American city. Toronto has bidding expierence, and many people have said that Toronto would have won the 2012 Olympic games if Vancouver had not won 2010.

A Summer Olympics would be very beneficial to Canada's present and future Summer Olympic athletes. Had it not been for The 1988 Olympics in Calgary, we would probably win only a fraction of the medals won in Winter Olympics after Calgary.

Either way, it would be good for Toronto to put its name in the mix for 2016. Even if we don't win 2016, it would up our chances for winning 2020. A city as dynamic and multicultural as Toronto can't keep losing bids forever.

Thank you for your time.

________________________

After learning that Toronto wouldn't bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics after they lost the bid for 2008, I finally decided to e-mail T.O.'s mayor (David Miller) to tell him why his city should bid. Who the hell is Joanne Miller? Okay I know it's his wife but why would the site I got his e-mail address from say 'Contact David Miller'? It should have said 'Contact David Miller's Wife' At least it wasn't a pre-made crappy letter. I'm actually optimistic she will actually 'share my thoughts and comments' with the mayor. She probably won't though.
I guess the Mayor of Toronto would be quite busy, so he can't be expected to check his e-mail a lot.

Speaking of sports, I can't wait to start Tennis. I love Tennis but I'm just abysmal at it. I've taken about 16 1 hour lessons last year, I'm still in beginner's, I don't know If I'll ever make the leap to advanced.

See ya.

Haha I just got 6/15 on a math quiz.:o) My math skills are such a joke. I think my average is 66 right now.
Right now I would be totally happy getting anything over 60 on a test.

It's just I loathe math. Absoloutely loathe it. There's no substance to it, nothing that makes you go 'Omgaw neva knew that!' or 'You learn something new everyday!'. It's just 'Oh. 24cxy divided 6x = 4cy'

I read in a magazine that if you hated Math in school you're passionate. It also said if you hated geography you're lustful so I don't know.

I keep asking asking my mom if we're getting a new computer soon and she keeps saying yes. Not 'Yes' more like '........yes...' And I know I'm never going to ask to tell the truth because I can't handle the truth. It's not like my whole depends on if we're getting a computer soon or not but I'd really like to try Sims 2. It looks fun.

Bye.

edit- Canada just got it's first medal (gold). Hope there'll be many more to come.:D

Ok. I promise I'll make my journal more interesting to read. If anybody's reading it.

I know I talk about politics way too much, it's not like that's all I care about, but it's so easy to just to write a few sentences about someone doing something to someone in canadian politics and just call it a journal entry. I find it tres difficile to write anything that doesn't read like a newstory.

And the fact is I'm shy in real life and online. Maybe I'm even more shy online than in real life.
My life is quite uneventful too. I feel like something bad should happen to me so I can write about it. Or maybe I just don't know how take my life and translate it into a journal entry.:/ Anyway, I'm gonna start updating more. Watch for them! I know you're all very excited!;)

Bye.

Paul Martin should really fire his freakin' strategist.
Seriously, I'm not one bit suprised the liberals are now behind in the polls. But the thought of a conservative, even worse a conservative majority government makes me want to stick a knife in my head.

Other than the recent politics lifes been wonderful lately! I'm starting tennis soon, can't wait. Had a great christmas, grades improving, blah blah.

Hope you're all doing good too!:)

I got my report card for the first term today. It was... adequate. 77 % average. That's not too bad. First term only accounts for 20% of the final mark, anyway.

I had a dream last night that I went to a hotel downtown and I got a nice room. And I looked out the window and I could see the Manhattan skyline even though the hotel I visited was allegedly here in Charlottetown.

I heard there might be an election early next year witch means there could be some Xmas campaigning which I, and most people don't really want. I don't really want to see the liberal government fall either. I think though even if there is an election next year the liberals will beat the cons. The Conservative party leader isn't very popular.

There was some drama in science class today. A kid got mad a at a kid and threw a book at him in the middle of class. It was interesting.

I got an allergy test on friday. I was actually freaked out when the doctor was about to start doing the little prick thing they have to do, even though everyone and their grandma told me it didnt hurt, yeah it didnt really but it was hella annoying. Half of the things I'm allergic to sound like they belong in Harry Potter "Mugwort" "Wormwood" rofl.

They say I'm allergic to milk. Umm ok I'm going to stop drinking milk. I'm also going to run in the next election. They only say I'm a bit allergic to it though.

'Three bomb blasts in Delhi, India kill at least 61 and wound dozens. Police declare a state of emergency in the city.'
It's sort of sad that 10 years ago that would be hugely suprising, but now it doesn't really supirse me at all.:/

[ mood | bored ]

I think all the kids got new aims.Cause nobodys ever on on mine and I have 38 people.

So, last night I dreamed.

I was in my teacher's class from grade 8 and I asked if I could go to the bathroom.

She said okay. And then for some reason the bathroom is just one stall on a platform high above the floor and there's stairs going up to it. I go in, and immediately know somethings wrong. Then I see my teacher peek in the bathroom ,not stall, door, with a look that said 'I'm ready to kill' . And my whole class was crowding around the door looking in. So I see my teacher coming up towards the stall, and then I get hella scared and I jump to the picture window across the room.
The end.

On a lighter note, my little sister just came in and she has a toque and her scouts outfit on and she looks like a russian soldier. Because I know what russian soldiers look like.
